About The Trickery Wholesale Division
Much of The Trickery's business success was due in large part to the props and effects we chose to carry and promote. My passion for higher end props of astounding quality and effect has earned us a wonderful reputation worldwide for carrying a very select line of unusual pieces.
After many years we are able to offer some of our product to you at wholesale pricing. The pricing structure we offer you was put into place as incentive pricing. The thinking is simple. If we offered you a 50% cost structure on just a qty of 1 or 2, you wouldn't have any incentive to promote that item. It would ultimately blend into your product mix and get lost in a short amount of time. Like us, you don't want to sit on a large qty of any one item. The qty you are 'forced' to buy will motivate you to push the product. You will not take the lazy way out! Harder work will assure you of reaping higher rewards. So the end result is a win-win for all concerned.
The more profit I was able to make on an item, the more I would promote that item or line. Most often my profitable lines were cross-merchandised in a Magic Boutique department. Branding an entire line under one roof always doubled to tripled the numbers for that line.
I never believed in discounting as so many of the shops do today. Those shops will be short-lived. Thankfully, we never had to resort to discounting even during quiet times. We have extended our reach to a higher level customer that enjoys repeated sales when new collectible pieces arrive. My better customers and products help to keep us alive during quiet times. My average sale is $145.00! That's not too shabby for a magic shop!

Pricing Structure
A small chart appears towards the bottom the
an item's detail page. This chart will reflect the discount structure for that particular item. Some items will be available at jobber pricing when that is
possible. Other items simply do not have the room to meet jobber pricing, though most are close!
While I will be selective in accepting dealers, I guarantee our higher end collectible items will not be discounted and not available by the typical deep discount shops. Each item will be supplied with its own media kit to make your life easier when adding our items to your website or printed flyers. Ordering
Our wholesale site is a showcase of our product line and is not commerce enabled. Please contact Howard by email or by phone to place your order. Your order will be entered into The Trickery's main system. You may create an account and place the order through our system as well. We will adjust the retail pricing to the propper wholesale pricing for your selected quantities upon receiving your order. You will be notified by email once the order is adjusted and is ready to ship.
